Information we collect

Your account (email, name, phone), pet details (breed, temperament, health), approximate location (to show hotels near you), booking and payment history, images you upload (e.g. transfer slips), and basic app-usage data.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google and use them only to create your account and sign you in. We do not access any other data in your Google account, and we do not sell this data or use it for advertising. PetPal's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use it

To provide boarding/booking services, match hotels that suit your pet, process payments, offer support, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data.

Disclosure

We share only what is needed: the hotel you book (your and your pet's name so they can prepare care), our payment provider (Omise) for transactions, and infrastructure providers under confidentiality agreements.

Location

We use your location only to show and sort the nearest hotels. You can turn off location access in your device settings and still use the app (without distances).

Retention and security

Passwords are hashed, sensitive data is encrypted, and card payments run through a certified provider (card data never touches our servers). Some booking/payment records are retained as required for accounting and law.

Your rights (PDPA)

You may access, correct and delete your data — you can delete your account in-app (Settings > Delete account permanently), which removes personal data and anonymises transaction history. You may withdraw consent or contact us to exercise your rights at any time.
